So, Analytical Exposition is the text which elaborates the writer's perspective about an issue. It aims to persuade readers and tell them that the topic is significantly important.

Purpose:

The purpose of an analytical exposition text is to persuade the reader to believe something by presenting one side of an argument.

Structure

The structures of analytical exposition text consist of:

1. Thesis: It is paragraph to introduce the main topic and indicate the writer's position.

2. Arguments: It contains sentences to support the writer’s perspective or the main topic. The number of arguments may vary and differ based on the writer’s beliefs, but each argument must be supported by evidence and explanation.

Answer the following questions.

Text 1
There is no best way to deal with pests in agriculture. Pesticides which are commonly used may cause many problems. I think combining different management operations is the most effective way to control pests.

Firstly, the chemicals in the pesticides may build up as residues in the environment and in the soil which absorbs the chemicals. This reduces the quality of farm product.

Secondly, pests can gradually become resistant to pesticides. This means that newer and stronger ones have to be developed.

Lastly, some pesticides affect non target plants and animals such as fish and bees. This affects the ecology and environment as well.

So, understanding of ecology of an area helps a lot in pest control. Pesticides should be chosen and applied carefully so that they don't affect the ecological balance and environment.

Therefore, integrated pest management is a safe and more effective option to fight pest in agriculture and livestock.

chapter 4 part 4

The Importance of Character Education in Schools

Introduction
Character education is a form of education that instills moral values, ethics, and social norms in students, with the aim of shaping good character and personality. In this modern era, character education has become increasingly important, as it not only prepares students for academic success but also equips them to face social challenges and life in society. Therefore, it is essential to integrate character education into the school curriculum.

Argumentation
Character education offers many benefits for student development. First, it helps students develop discipline and responsibility. By teaching values such as honesty, responsibility, and cooperation, students will be better equipped to manage themselves in their daily lives. For example, through lessons that involve values of togetherness, students learn to collaborate with classmates and respect others' opinions, which are essential skills for the future workforce.

Second, character education can help reduce negative behaviors, such as bullying and juvenile delinquency. By emphasizing empathy, students are taught to understand and care for others' feelings. This can create a more harmonious school environment where every student feels valued and respected.

Third, character education also prepares students to become good citizens. Students with strong character will more easily adapt to their community environment and contribute positively to social change. They are more likely to engage in social activities and care about the issues around them.

Explanation
Effective character education is not only based on theory or classroom lessons, but it must also be consistently implemented through examples and role models from teachers, parents, and the surrounding community. The process of character education should involve diverse approaches, such as fostering positive values in everyday life, rewarding students who demonstrate good behavior, and providing opportunities for character development through extracurricular activities.

For example, in scout activities or student organizations like the Student Council (OSIS), students can learn about responsibility, leadership, and teamwork. These activities not only strengthen students' character but also give them opportunities to apply these values in real-life situations.

Conclusion
Character education in schools is crucial for shaping individuals who are not only academically intelligent but also possess good morals and are ready to face life's challenges. Through character education, students will grow into responsible, empathetic, and caring individuals. Therefore, all parties, from teachers to parents, must collaborate to support the implementation of character education in schools. By doing so, character education can become one of the keys to creating a better and more qualified younger generation,
